2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Pay Starting at $16.00/hr Job Summary Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc. is seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members to join our production team as Automotive Part Painters on 1st and 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want to build a career in a fast-paced, team-focused manufacturing environment. No experience needed — full training provided. As an Automotive Part Painter, you will help prepare and paint high-quality automotive components while ensuring consistent finish, appearance, and quality standards throughout the production process. Key Responsibilities Prepare automotive parts for painting. Apply paint or coating according to work instructions and quality standards. Inspect parts for coverage, finish, and surface defects. Touch up or correct parts as needed to meet quality expectations. Hang, load, unload, or move parts as required. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following 5S and safety standards. Record production and scrap information as needed. Position Requirements Must be 18 years or older. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs. for extended periods. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance, especially during the 60-day probation period. Willing to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Basic math and reading skills for work instructions and labels.
