Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or priming.
Mix paints, coatings, and materials according to specifications and product requirements.
Operate spray guns, booths, and related painting equipment safely and efficiently.
Apply paint or coatings evenly to achieve a high-quality, durable finish.
Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and paint booths.
Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and ventilation systems.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of paints, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
Keep accurate records of materials used and jobs completed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.

RESPONSIBILITIESThe Harvey Spray Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint or coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on products, equipment, or structures. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of painting equipment, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or priming.
Mix paints, coatings, and materials according to specifications and product requirements.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).2 - 5 years Quality/MFG experience in a non-electronics/non-food settingExperience using Measuring Equipment (Tape Measure and Calipers required)Basic knowledge in use of inspection equipment and reading technical drawingsBasic knowledge of quality systems and tolerances (+/-, passible defects, etc)Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solvingStrong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)Must be able to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate levelAdditional InformationSite Address:
