In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and surface repair to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and color schemes to execute precise painting plans Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand or power tools with efficiency and accuracy Perform construction surface preparation tasks such as sanding, priming, and coating application on various materials including stucco, masonry, concrete, and wood Use ladders safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while following all safety regulations and protocols Conduct restoration work on existing surfaces to improve appearance or extend lifespan through specialized techniques like industrial painting or renovation projects Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring tools are well-maintained for optimal performance Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial coating applications with a strong understanding of construction site procedures Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects is a plus Familiarity with color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching techniques Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spraying), and scaffolding safely Experience with surface preparation including plastering, caulking, masonry work, and concrete finishing is highly desirable Strong understanding of safety regulations including respiratory protection use and adherence to safety protocols on construction sites Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and schematics for precise project execution Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coatings application and surface dimensions Excellent attention to detail with an eye for quality workmanship in both interior and exterior environments Handyman experience or familiarity with fixture installation can be advantageous Join our team as a Painter if you're eager to bring vibrant transformations to life while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.
