• $25 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Masking for automotive painting Paint mixing systems Moving High school diploma or GED Grinding Cleaning (surface preparation method) Abrasive blasting Sandblasting Sanding Entry level Full Job Description VIP Staffing is immediately hiring an Industrial Painter for a great company in Albuquerque, NM This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Schedule of Monday•Thursday 6 am•6:30pm Pay for this position is $23•25 DOE As an Industrial Painter you will: perform actual painting of all products including mobile water tanks, trailers, dump bodies, stationary structures, and piece work Perform preparation of products by sandblasting, grinding, sanding, applying body filler putty, and masking.

Painting product by mixing and applying primers, masticks, and paint Apply interior anti-corrosive paint in the water tanks, and move product in and out of paint bay Climb in and out of tanks for interior cleaning/prep/paint Industrial Painter candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration: High School Diploma or GED; or six months to one year automobile or machinery painting or combination of both. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures. Have good hand eye coordination Ability to follow repetitive work and follow verbal instructions Able to be on your feet for your full shift along with bending, stooping, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing Must be able to work in confined spaces or high locations as required Don't Wait!
