Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Painter/Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, applying high-quality paint finishes, and assisting with auto body repair and surface restoration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive refinishing while contributing to the creation of flawless vehicle appearances. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, grinding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using conventional spray guns or airless paint sprayers with precision and attention to detail. Perform surface preparation tasks including masking, sanding, and buffing to achieve smooth finishes. Assist with auto body repairs such as dent removal, welding, and auto glass replacement as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely for sanding, grinding, buffing, and other refinishing tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Experience Prior dealership or automotive body shop experience is highly preferred.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
