Responsibilities:
The Aircraft Painter is responsible for sanding and preparing surfaces for paint, mixing paint products, and applying paint products within the allocated man-hour budgets while staying on schedule and maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory regulations and requirements. Responsibilities Prepare paint, prepare a surface and apply paint Apply paint in accordance with work instructions Prepare surfaces for overlap between painted areas Prepare for paint touch-ups or small areas (1 liter maximum) Knowledge of paint tools and their correct use Knowledge of the different types of paints and how to apply them Perform all work according to Bombardier standards, including quality and safety policies Able to carry out visual checks in accordance with project requirements to identity reasons for both non-conformities and successful outcomes Complete timecards daily and ensure that the snag/task card information is correct Punctual, meticulous and good time management Qualifications As our ideal candidate, You must have 2+ years of aircraft paint experience on business aircraft or similar You must be able to work from documentation such as company procedures, preparation packages You must be able to work in a confined space You must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation You must have a diploma or relevant trade certificates or equivalent When applicable, Bombardier promotes flexible and hybrid work policies.
