Successful candidates will apply protective coatings to commercial and defense products using various industrial spray-painting techniques and equipment while ensuring compliance with production, quality, and safety standards. This position requires the ability to prepare, mix, apply, and inspect industrial coatings on fabricated components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with experience in industrial painting, spray painting, powder coating, CARC coating, automotive painting, protective coatings, and manufacturing finishing operations are encouraged to apply.

Night Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:15
AM Weekend Shift:

Essential Duties Apply industrial coatings and protective finishes to steel, aluminum, and fabricated components using spray-painting equipment. Mix paints, coatings, and related materials according to specifications and work instructions. Operate paint booths, spray equipment, conveyors, and associated finishing equipment. Adjust spray equipment settings and pressure controls to achieve required coating coverage and finish quality. Inspect coated parts and assemblies for runs, sags, coverage deficiencies, and other quality concerns. Perform touch-up painting and corrective actions as required. Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Prepare work areas, equipment, and materials for efficient production operations. Clean and maintain spray booths, paint equipment, hoses, spray heads, hooks, grids, and related equipment. Follow established safety procedures for coating application and material handling. Maintain production schedules while achieving quality requirements. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education Level High school diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum of one (1) year of experience in industrial painting, spray painting, powder coating, CARC coating, or manufacturing finishing operations required. Vocational, technical school, or trade training in painting or coatings may be substituted for experience. Automotive painting and auto body painting experience is preferred. Experience operating industrial spray equipment and paint booth systems is preferred. Knowledge of coating thickness, paint mixing, surface preparation, and finishing processes is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability and willingness to learn all painting equipment and finishing processes utilized at JWF Industries. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Physical Demands While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The employee is regularly exposed to paint fumes, coatings, airborne particles, and manufacturing-related materials.
