Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stainer / Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various surfaces, ensuring quality finishes that meet safety and durability standards. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality products, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to achieve precise results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and efficiency are highly valued. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, primers, coatings, and finishes using airless paint spraying, brushes, rollers, or spray guns with precision and consistency Operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, forklifts, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively during the painting process Handle materials carefully, including loading and unloading supplies with forklifts or other materials handling equipment Perform auto body repair tasks when necessary to restore surfaces before painting or finishing Use precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to ensure accurate application of coatings according to specifications Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in industrial or construction painting, auto painting, or auto body repair preferred Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in machining, fabrication, or materials handling is highly desirable Familiarity with welding techniques and airless paint spraying methods is a plus Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely Strong understanding of materials handling processes within a manufacturing or warehouse environment Knowledge of industrial painting standards and safety protocols required for high-quality finishes Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses and surface preparation Join our team as a Stainer / Painter and bring your craftsmanship to life in a fast-paced manufacturing setting!
