We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Painter/Refinisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, finishing, and refinishing cabinets to meet high-quality standards. Your expertise in industrial painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating application will ensure our products are visually appealing and durable. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and surface treatment to ensure optimal adhesion of paint and coatings Apply primer, paint, and protective finishes using conventional spray guns or airless paint sprayers with precision and consistency Interpret production documents, work orders, and specifications to meet exact color matching and finish requirements Operate hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and coating spray guns safely and efficiently during the finishing process Conduct quality inspections using visual color comparison tools and precision measuring instruments to verify finish standards align with specifications Handle materials carefully using proper materials handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols and PPE guidelines Maintain a clean work environment by following construction painting surface preparation procedures and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials Requirements Proven experience in industrial painting, coating application, or furniture refinishing with a focus on cabinetry or similar surfaces Ability to interpret manufacturing instructions, technical drawings, and production documents accurately Familiarity with safety protocols including PPE use such as respirators, respiratory protection devices, and adherence to safety standards in manufacturing environments Mechanical aptitude with experience operating hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and coating spray guns Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coatings and surface preparation Understanding of construction painting surface preparation techniques and materials handling procedures Strong attention to detail with excellent visual color comparison skills for achieving consistent finishes Join us in delivering top-quality cabinetry refinishing that combines craftsmanship with innovative finishing techniques.
