Painting Lead Pay:

$30.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Full-time About the Position We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter / Painting Lead to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who has strong industrial painting experience and is ready to take on a leadership role. The Painting Lead will oversee a small crew of approximately 2-3 painters and additional helpers, while also performing hands-on painting work. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and able to keep a crew organized and productive. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of 2-3 painters and additional helpers Perform hands-on industrial painting and surface preparation Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and other preparation as needed Apply industrial coatings, primers, paints, and finishes according to specifications Ensure proper application techniques, coverage, and finish quality Read and follow project specifications, drawings, and coating requirements Organize daily work and assign tasks to crew members Monitor the quality and progress of work to keep projects on schedule Train and provide direction to less-experienced painters and helpers Ensure proper use and care of painting equipment and tools Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate with management regarding project progress, materials, equipment, and any issues that arise Maintain a professional and productive work environment Qualifications 3+ years of industrial painting experience preferred Previous experience leading or supervising a painting crew Strong knowledge of industrial painting and surface preparation Ability to operate and maintain painting equipment Ability to identify and correct quality issues Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable and reliable Good communication and leadership skills Ability to work safely and follow instructions and project specifications Ability to perform physical tasks associated with industrial painting, including standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and working at heights as required Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a pre-employment drug test.

$30.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
