We are looking for experienced and dependable Hydro Blasters, Industrial Painters, and Sandblasters Mandros Painting - 4.5 Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Temporary $17 - $19 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Heavy lifting Outdoor work experience Safety equipment Sandblasting Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking experienced and dependable Hydro Blasters, Industrial Painters, and Sandblasters to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through abrasive blasting techniques, applying high-quality coatings, and ensuring that all projects meet safety standards and client specifications. Your expertise will help us deliver durable, visually appealing finishes across a variety of industrial, commercial, and renovation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging shutdown projects that require precision, skill, and a proactive approach. This position will start the first week of September and go until end of October Responsibilities Perform abrasive blasting to specified surface-preparation standards Prepare steel, concrete, piping, tanks, and other industrial substrates for coating Mix and apply industrial coatings according to manufacturer requirements Apply coatings using airless spray equipment, conventional spray equipment, rollers, and brushes Measure and maintain the required wet-film thickness Assist with containment, masking, equipment setup, and jobsite cleanup Inspect blasting and painting equipment before use Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions Properly use and maintain respiratory protection and personal protective equipment Work productively with other crew members to complete projects safely and on schedule Qualifications Perform heavy lifting and physical manual labor Work in confined spaces Climb and work on lots of stairs and ladders Work at heights and in industrial environments Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures Work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts when required Work as part of a team and follow directions Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality Experienced Hydro Blasters, Painters, and Sandblasters are encouraged to apply.
