Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and durability Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and power tools with precision and efficiency Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to execute projects accurately Conduct structural painting tasks on various surfaces such as stucco, trim carpentry, fixtures, and restoration areas Use ladders safely for elevated work while adhering to all safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols Perform surface repairs including drywall patching, plastering, and fixture installation to ensure a smooth finish Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling hand tools, paint sprayers, and other equipment while following safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting with knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques Skilled in surface preparation including construction estimating for project planning Familiarity with color theory for accurate color matching and visual color comparison skills Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and scaffolding or ladders safely Understanding of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction site experience Knowledge of coating types such as stucco or specialized finishes used in renovation or restoration projects Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope and materials Additional handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus for versatile project support Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with quality craftsmanship!
