In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously finishing and repairing footwear or upholstery items, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Use measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions and fit of finished products Operate industrial sewing machines, serging equipment, and other machinery to complete seam construction and garment sewing tasks Perform manual cutting of fabric materials and upholstery components with precision tools Conduct quality checks in accordance with established standards throughout the finishing process Handle materials carefully during processing, ensuring proper storage and movement within the workspace Execute seam construction, garment sewing, embroidery, and upholstery finishing with attention to detail Maintain safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols and using protective equipment at all times Skills Proficiency with measuring instruments and dimensional measurements for precise work Strong knowledge of quality standards in production and garment construction Skilled in seam construction, sewing, serging, embroidery, and fabric materials handling Experience operating sewing machines, including industrial sewing machines and sergers Ability to perform manual cutting (fabric cutting) accurately and efficiently Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe workspace Knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials handling within manufacturing processes Warehouse experience is advantageous for efficient materials management Join our team as a Cobbler/Finisher if you are passionate about craftsmanship, committed to quality, and eager to contribute your skills in a vibrant production setting.
