Primary Responsibilities:
Complete Reliable Controls Level I and Level II Operators Training. Complete Reliable Controls Level I and Level II Technicians Training. Good working knowledge of Reliable Controls products, architecture, and Building Automation Systems as a whole. Proficient blueprint and controls schematic reading for rough-in locations of Controls equipment and devices. Demonstrates a good understanding of electrical and mechanical code requirements and company quality control protocols. Demonstrates good wiring knowledge and practices. Good working knowledge of mechanical equipment and mechanical sequence of operations including 3rd party equipment. Demonstrates good organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Willingness to train less qualified controls technicians. Acts as lead point of contact for projects. Coordinates various trades, Programmer, and Graphics for Control System power up and project hand off. Works directly with Project Manager to schedule needed manpower, complete projects on time and on budget. Assist with verifying power and communication to all controllers and devices. Demonstrates good troubleshooting skills for power and communication issues. Assists with start-up, point to point commissioning, test and balance, redline, and as-build drawings as requested. Perform Control's preventative maintenance tasking without supervision including but not limited to: verifying network communications, review alarm/trouble log, identify repair or upgrade options, verify control actuator/valve operation, investigate failed sensors or points, investigate points in alarm, verify heating and cooling loop set-points, verify heating and cooling loop staging, verify programming, review set-points, review trend logs, back-up system data annually, and provide software upgrades as required. Demonstrates the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Attend all required and pre-scheduled training classes for personal and professional advancement. Listen to, assist, learn from, and pay attention to instructions from supervisors, coordinators, and more experienced personnel. Ability to get along with and work well with people on all levels and departments within and outside the organization. Must be a team player.
Our Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of Building Automation Controls, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management experience. Valid Colorado driver's license with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in previous 5 years. Must successfully complete background check, drug screen, physical conditions of employment job screen, and team interview as condition of employment. Reliable and dependable work history. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and work proficiency with computers and hand-held devices such as smart phones, tablets, etc. Neat appearance accompanied with good listening and communication skills in order to communicate clearly with customers, fellow technicians, support staff, and supervisory personnel. Ability to use and interpret diagnostic and service equipment including but not limited to volt ohm meter and amp clamp. Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions on rooftops, outside of buildings, and residences, crawlspaces, attics, and other types of confined spaces. Perform physical work that requires the regular use of fingers, hands, walking, stooping, and kneeling. Regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs. Work from either a step ladder, extension ladder, or man lift with no fear of heights. Good work ethic and the desire to advance professionally and personally. Demonstrate good customer service skills, communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and common-sense judgement. Ability to maintain a positive, willing, and trainable attitude. Ability to get along with and work well with people on all levels. Work flexible hours and some overtime on occasion depending on Control's access requirements. Demonstrate a willingness to continue education through available company and industry training.
Pay:
$34.00 - $38.00 per hour
