This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with our team building electrical control panels at scale, and ensure seamless operation of production processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Assemble and Install, electrical components including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), contactors, terminal blocks and disconnects. Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and calibration instruments. Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and control blueprints to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex automation systems involving distributed control systems (DCS), SCADA and industrial automation components. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop improvements in electrical instrumentation, calibration procedures, and control system programming for enhanced efficiency. Extensive experience with industrial electrician tasks including electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex control systems. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics related to industrial controls and instrumentation. Familiarity with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems along with electrical safety procedures to ensure safe work practices. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, calibrators, and other diagnostic tools effectively. Knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices including equipment troubleshooting, calibration techniques, equipment troubleshooting methodologies, and preventive maintenance strategies. Experience working with hand tools drills and or other automated manufacturing equipment is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise to support comprehensive troubleshooting efforts. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors during field service activities.
