We are seeking a talented and experienced Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team and help drive our automation initiatives forward. Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Controls Technician to help design, implement, and maintain control systems for our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Allen Bradley systems, HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our automated production lines. Key Responsibilities Help Design, develop, and implement control systems for various manufacturing processes using Allen Bradley PLCs and related hardware. Create and maintain HMI screens for operator interfaces, ensuring intuitive and efficient operation of equipment. Develop and maintain SCADA systems for plant-wide monitoring and control. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and production staff to integrate control systems with other aspects of the manufacturing process. Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems before implementation. Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel on control system operation and troubleshooting. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in industrial automation and control systems. Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and operation manuals. Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring control system deliverables are met on time and within budget. Perform regular system audits and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency. Implement and maintain safety systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Occasional travel to client sites. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial automation and control systems. Proficiency in programming Allen Bradley PLCs, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and SLC 500 series. Experience with Allen Bradley software Strong knowledge of HMI development and implementation Expertise in SCADA system design and implementation. Experience with VFD configuration and integration, particularly Allen Bradley PowerFlex series. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex control systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
