Primary functions include working with and troubleshooting PLCs and other automated control systems, preventive maintenance, new equipment installations, and integrations. This position requires strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, high flexibility, good communication skills, a desire to learn, and the ability to work safely in a highly technical facility. Principal Duties and Essential Functions Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and other automated control systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, overhaul production machinery, and build experimental setups. Provide troubleshooting support for manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot motor/drive controller issues. Support internal projects. Required Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a certificate in an electrical field of study. Proficiency with PCs and Rockwell Automation. Experience with PLC programming, variable-speed drives, servo-systems, industrial sensors, and Relay Ladder Logic. Experience with Panel-View, FactoryTalk, or other operator interface programming. Experience completing and documenting preventive and non-routine maintenance. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience with ISO 9001 or 13485, and CFR 820 standards. Journeyman or Master Electrician License. Strong PC skills, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to adjust, replace, and/or repair mechanical drive components, chain & sprockets, pulleys, bearings, and gearboxes. Ability to troubleshoot, replace, and/or repair solenoids, cylinders, and pneumatic systems. Knowledge of slitting and winding methods, equipment, and procedures. 5+ years of manufacturing experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Experience operating scissor lifts and/or forklifts.
