KEY TASKS
Understand and follow work instructions and control plans Maintain an organized clean work environment and positively impact on the plant's safety initiatives PLC Ladder Logic Troubleshooting, Hardware Troubleshooting, Programming, Analog Inputs & Outputs, Scan Time Functional Block Diagrams, Ethernet. Motors & Drives
  • basic understanding of AC & DC Motors & Drives. Robotics
  • Basic Programming, Teach Paths, I/O & Interfacing, Troubleshooting. PC's
  • Operating Systems, Hardware, Drivers & Networking HMI's
  • Understanding of Basic Concepts, Troubleshooting, Interfacing Assist Automation/Process Engineers with development, installation and programming of line upgrades and line installations.
Understands required PPE, location and purpose of all lockouts and e-stops. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to set priorities and goals Demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision-making skills. Self-starter with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Education:
AAS Degree with an Automation emphasis preferred. Must be willing to enroll and complete established on-site or off-site training when offered.
Preferred experience:
3-5 years of experience in controls, electrical, or maintenance
Other Requirements:
Ability to Work All Shifts Valid driver's license required for business travel Regular and predictable attendance required Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities Overtime may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
KEY COMPETENCIES
Basic skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis. Live by example the Carlex Values
