Controls Engineer -

Forestville, MD Manufacturing | Full-Time We're looking for a hands-on Controls Engineer to join a growing manufacturing operation in Landover, MD. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong PLC, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, and automation experience who wants to play a key role in modernizing and improving a manufacturing plant. What You'll Do Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors & motor controls Support and improve plant automation systems Develop and maintain PLC programming standards Support electrical controls and instrumentation Troubleshoot industrial networks and control systems Lead controls and automation improvement projects Evaluate and upgrade outdated instrumentation Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians Create and maintain controls documentation and drawings Work with contractors and engineering partners What We're Looking For Engineering degree in Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical , or related field Hands-on manufacturing experience PLC programming experience Experience with RSLogix 5000 and Wonderware Experience troubleshooting VFDs and motor controls Knowledge of industrial networking and HMI systems Experience with 24VDC and 120V/240V/480V electrical systems Ability to read electrical drawings and P&IDs Experience with AutoCAD is a plus Why This Opportunity?
