Responsibilities:
The Controls Technician plays a vital role in keeping production running smoothly by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the plant?s electrical and automated control systems. Operating primarily on the third shift, this individual supports daily manufacturing operations, fixes software and hardware issues, and collaborates closely with facility mechanics and engineering teams to implement system upgrades.

No Degree Required Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High school diploma, GED, or higher is required. College-level coursework in electronics or industrial controls is highly preferred.
Professional Experience:
1 to 2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience).
Core Technical Requirement:
Previous hands-on experience working directly with PLC controls and logic circuits is required.
Computer Skills:
Proficient with standard Microsoft Windows programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) alongside mandatory experience navigating PLC and HMI control software.
Mathematical Skills:
Competent in basic algebra and geometry concepts. Ability to calculate practical workplace figures like proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, discounts, and interest. Interested?
