Job Description
Overview We are seeking two skilled and detail-oriented Senior Control Panel Technicians to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing control panels for various electrical systems. Also mentoring, training, coaching Junior Control Panel Technicians. Must possess a strong understanding of electrical principles and have hands-on experience with schematics and power tools. Duties Assemble control panels according to provided schematics and specifications. Perform electrical wiring and ensure proper connections for all components. Utilize power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters to complete tasks accurately. Test and troubleshoot logic controllers and other electrical devices within the panels. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with supervisors to improve panel design, functionality and resolve issues. Document all assembly processes and modifications made during production. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 8+ years experience with Industrial Control Panel assembly. Experience leading, supervising, training, Junior Level Control Panel Technicians Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in using various hand and power tools. Familiarity with electrical wiring standards and practices. Experience working with logic controllers, PCB, and surface mount technology is preferred. Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Visa sponsorship is not authorized for these positions now or in the future. $36.00 to $43.00 (Depending on experience) Must be able to pass a criminal background check This company makes control panels for industries ranging from power plants, food processing, mining to industrial heating and stadium display controls.
