In this role, you'll be at the center of exciting engineering and custom equipment manufacturing projects, helping ensure schedules, budgets, and project performance remain aligned from kickoff through completion. What You'll Do As a Project Controls Technician, you'll partner closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Leadership teams to provide accurate project tracking, reporting, and analysis. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project to reflect project requirements, milestones, and progress. Participate in project kickoff meetings to establish a clear understanding of project scope, budget, schedule, reporting, and change management processes. Support Project Managers with project budget management, forecasting, and ERP updates related to approved customer changes. Track project labor, material costs, and overall project performance against budgets. Gather and coordinate project information from cross-functional teams to create accurate and timely project status reports. Monitor project progress and performance using analytical tools and reporting techniques. Assist with cost reporting, project invoicing coordination, and financial tracking activities. Develop and maintain key project performance metrics and dashboards. Partner with Finance and Project Management teams to ensure accurate cost and schedule reporting. Support the development and continuous improvement of project controls policies, procedures, and best practices. Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean initiatives, and process enhancement opportunities. Provide additional project support and analysis as needed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Business Administration, or related field preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Preferred Qualifications Experience in project planning, project controls, scheduling, cost control, or project management Experience supporting large-scale engineering, manufacturing, or technical projects Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Syteline Experience within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or process equipment environments Exposure to Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies Why Join ABEC?
