- Final Valve Assembly Tech 2nd Shift / 3:00pm
- 11:30pm / M-F (weekends if needed) $15.85 /per hr Greenville, SC (Furman University Area)
Training Note:
Must be able to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the permanent 2nd-shift schedule.- PrideStaff
- Greenville is seeking an experienced, dependable, and physically capable Technical Assembly / Material Handler for a leading manufacturing facility for our customer in the Greenville, SC area .
- Assembly / Material Handler Primary Responsibilities include: Your main responsibility is the efficient operation of assembly machinery and accurate staging of production materials , ensuring all finished goods meet strict quality and counter specifications.
Machine Operation:
Efficiently operate industrial machinery, ensuring parts feed into the equipment correctly to deliver a high-quality finished product.Precision Measurement:
Utilize specialized gauges to verify part height accuracy and ensure all raw components match exact build specifications.Material Logistics:
Load raw inventory into machinery hoppers and reels; accurately label, organize, and stack finished products on skids for transport.Preventative Monitoring:
Maintain constant familiarity with machinery running characteristics to spot mechanical alterations and catch issues before a major breakdown occurs.Quality & Verification:
Perform detailed visual inspections, verify product counter metrics, and manage physical scanners to track moving inventory.Line Changeovers:
Efficiently execute complete product run changeovers and adjust machine settings based on the daily production schedule.Housekeeping:
Keep all work cells, paths, and surrounding warehouse areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.Assembly / Material
Handler Requirements include:Proven Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of technical assembly experience involving precision tools and heavy material handling.Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. without restrictions.Cognitive Focus:
Strong ability to maintain deep concentration and accuracy while working in a noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.Technical & Math Skills:
General mathematical aptitude with a proven ability to match long part numbers with 100% accuracy.Instructions:
Excellent ability to read, interpret, and follow written technical instructions as well as verbal coaching.Success Traits:
