- 2nd Shift We have an immediate Direct Hire opportunity for an Electrical Controls Technician in the Surgoinsville/Rogersville, TN area. This is a 2nd Shift position with one of the top manufacturing companies in East Tennessee. Starting pay range is $24.00 to $27.00 per hour (depending on experience, education, and training).
Job Description:
Electrical Controls Technician responsible for electrical, controls (PLC & Robotics), equipment, and machinery, diagnosis and repair. Successful candidates must have a thorough understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLC's, Robotics, and High Voltage equipment. Must be able to troubleshoot factory equipment and machinery to diagnose issues and make necessary repairs. Must be able to work from blueprints, drawings, and instructions.
Education, Skills & Training:
High School Diploma or GED is required Industrial Electrical or Maintenance certificate is highly preferred Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is a huge plus Strong background in electrical controls (PLC's) Experience with Robotics 1-2 years of experience working with Industrial Control Systems
