The Measurement Technician will be responsible for performing meter proving services and the accuracy of measurement performance and repeatability for RAM's clients. The Measurement Technician will work closely with RAM's leadership and our client's field measurement team. Job Requirements Perform meter proving tasks on LACT Units (mainly Coriolis & Positive Displacement meters) according to industry standards and contractual obligations. Perform on-site audit of client's measurement system and provide feedback on measurement practices and principles as needed. Ensure the QA/QC of all safety documents, proving reports, and overall proving process. Maintain a safe work environment while following RAM's safety policy and procedures. Assist as needed in troubleshooting and repair of client's measurement system. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong working knowledge of LACT Unit proving process Strong understanding of API Standards relating to liquid custody transfer measurement Proficient computer skills Drive for extended distances as needed Work in adverse weather conditions Excellent oral and written communication Self starter and can work independently without supervision Education and Experience High school diploma or (GED) 1-2 year of LACT proving experience preferred operating piston or ball prover 2-3 years of oil and gas measurement experience Will provide on-the-job training to the right candidate RAM is Veteran owned and operated and we highly consider Military experience a plus
