WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

As the Lead Cake Decorator, you will lead the cake program — planning production around advance orders, weekends, and holiday volume — while training and mentoring other decorators. Overall you will contribute to maintaining excellent product quality and a picture-perfect cake showcase.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all Cake Decorator duties: decorate custom and case cakes to Paris Baguette design and quality standards Lead the cake program — plan the production schedule around advance orders, weekends, and holiday volume Train and mentor other decorators on piping, writing, and finishing techniques Quality-check every cake before pickup or display; catch and fix issues before they reach a guest Maintain the cake showcase merchandising and freshness Coordinate with the General Manager on order volume forecasting, especially around holidays Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including labeling and dating

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

2+ years of cake decorating experience with some lead or mentoring experience preferred Portfolio or photos of past work strongly preferred Steady hands, an artistic eye, and attention to detail Able to work weekends and be available for holiday order volume Comfortable training and giving feedback to other decorators

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
