2+ years preferred Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Bag-Maker / Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Grand Prairie, Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating bag-making or packaging machinery and be able to maintain production quality and efficiency in a fast paced environment. Experience operating ROVEMA or similar bag-making/vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) equipment is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor bag-making and packaging machinery.
Set up machines according to production specifications.
Adjust machine settings for different bag sizes, products, and packaging materials.
Perform machine changeovers and production adjustments.
Monitor bag formation, filling, sealing, and cutting processes.
Inspect finished bags for proper seals, appearance, weight, and quality.
Identify and report equipment problems or production issues.
Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Minimize product and packaging waste.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and production procedures.
Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals. Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of machine operator, bag-maker, or packaging equipment experience preferred.
Experience operating ROVEMA or similar equipment strongly preferred.
VFFS or other automated packaging machine experience is a plus.
Ability to perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and follow production instructions and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift and move materials as required
