Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our studio team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement a set stained glass project for students each class Class is 2 hours of teaching Prep is 2-3 hours Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Must know how to teach the Tiffany method of stained glass Teaching the class how to foil, soldering, and clean their piece. Must be able to shape and create all student glass pieces prior to class starting. Qualifications Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles. MUST know how to create a simple stained glass design Must know how to cut and shape glass Must know how to teach the Tiffany stained glass method We have all necessary tools and equipment for you and students. $15.00 - $22.00 per hour Application Question(s): Our stained glass class is typically taught on weekday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm. This is a two hour class and the students are only foiling and soldering. Together our managers and stained glass teachers will decide on the project. You are responsible for cutting and shaping glass prior to class. This is typically a one time class of 8 students. We have all materials and equipment for you and your students.
