•$28.00/hr Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician II to support the assembly and production of advanced electronic and electromechanical systems. This role involves performing a variety of assembly operations on electronic assemblies, subassemblies, circuit boards, wire harnesses, cables, modules, and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have experience with soldering, SMT assembly, precision work under a microscope, and interpreting engineering documentation. Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic and electromechanical components, assemblies, and subassemblies according to engineering specifications. Perform soldering, wire harness construction, cable assembly, and SMT component installation and rework. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, and microscopes to complete assembly tasks. Perform continuity checks, inspections, and verification of completed work. Modify, troubleshoot, repair, and rework assemblies as required. Support prototype and developmental builds under engineering guidance. Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards and specifications. Accurately document production activities and maintain manufacturing records. Follow all safety, quality, ESD, FOD, and manufacturing procedures. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of electronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, or related manufacturing experience. Experience with soldering, SMT (Surface Mount Technology), and/or wire harness assembly. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Experience working with microscopes for precision assembly and inspection. Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications

J-STD-001

Certification or equivalent soldering certification. Experience assembling, troubleshooting, or repairing RF, communication, navigation, or electronic systems. Experience reworking dense SMT circuit boards and prototype cable assemblies. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as SAP, Solumina, or similar systems. Knowledge of ESD, FOD, ITAR, and AS9100 requirements. Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
