Position Summary The Busway Installer plays a key role in the assembly of modular data-center systems by installing and verifying busway systems and supports to released design requirements. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and workmanship while following drawings, layouts, and work instructions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to perform precise assembly work, and focused on ensuring product integrity throughout the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities Read drawings, layouts, and work instructions before installation. Position, align, and secure busway sections and supports. Complete controlled torque operations and required documentation. Verify clearances, joint alignment, labeling, and workmanship. Protect electrical components from damage and contamination. Escalate design, fit, or material issues before proceeding. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical/electrical assembly or construction experience preferred. Ability to read drawings and use hand/power tools. Ability to perform precise assembly and documented torque work. Preferred Qualifications Busway or electrical-distribution installation experience. Physical & Work Environment This role is expected to work in an active manufacturing environment. Depending on assignment, work may include standing or walking for extended periods; bending, reaching, climbing, or working from approved access equipment; use of hand and power tools; handling production material; and wearing required PPE.
