In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality electro-mechanical products, ensuring they meet strict specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Assemble electrical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately follow assembly instructions. Build electrical panels by wiring components, installing terminal blocks, relays, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices in accordance with IPC 610 standards. Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision using soldering irons and reflow techniques. Conduct testing of assembled units using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing instruments to verify electrical continuity, resistance, and proper operation. Troubleshoot issues during assembly or testing phases by diagnosing electrical or mechanical faults through engineering troubleshooting methods. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Qualifications Proven experience in electronics assembly, including PCB soldering, surface mount technology (SMT), and electrical wiring. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies, and electro-mechanical component integration. Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, as well as power tools used in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of electrical testing equipment including multimeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting purposes. Experience in building electrical panels and working with schematics related to electrical blueprint reading. Ability to follow blueprint specifications meticulously while maintaining high-quality standards in manufacturing processes. Mechanical assembly skills are a plus for integrating electronic components into larger systems.
