Key Responsibilities:
Assemble electrical and mechanical components, including wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and subassemblies, based on blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Route, terminate, crimp, and secure wiring and connectors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Use hand and basic power tools for mechanical assembly, including wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, cutters, and torque drivers. Perform visual inspections and basic electrical testing to verify product quality and functionality. Identify and report any assembly defects or discrepancies. Maintain accurate production documentation and records. Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet goals and customer specifications.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly, wire harness fabrication, or related manufacturing roles. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Proficient in using hand tools and basic power tools. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Basic math, measurement, and troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license. Experience with electrical testing, soldering, crimping, or
IPC/WHMA-A-620
standards is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Repetitive hand movements throughout the shift. Capable of lifting and moving up to 30 lbs. Pay Details:
