We are a fast-growing Southern California technology innovator that solves tough, mission-critical challenges for our customers in the aerospace, defense, and commercial markets. We design, develop, and manufacture advanced products for ground, maritime, and airborne applications. We are seeking an Electronics Assembler II for our Operations Department. The successful candidate will have advanced electronics and mechanical manufacturing experience and will be proficient in soldering, mechanical assembly, and epoxy potting. You will be responsible for assembly of an advanced electro-mechanical product to AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities:
Solder electronic components Perform prototype assembly per drawings and specifications. Perform production assembly and inspection. Maintain material inventory with proper paperwork and electronic records per established AS9100 procedures. Work with Purchasing and Quality Assurance groups in ensuring timely and quality work product. Provide training in soldering best practices for other employees as required. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate degree in Electronics with 3-5 years of experience or vocational training with 5-7 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing/production environment. Experience with printed circuit board assembly, electrical harness production, ESD control, and handling optical components. Good soldering skills (SMT, through-hole, fine pitch, and harnessing). Good understanding of soldering work standards (IPC-A-610/J-STD-001). Must be capable of following assembly procedures and drawings to perform mechanical system integration, as well as follow test procedures to perform functional testing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent technical report writing skills Ability to commit and work under deadlines. Must be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability, and professional development. Current IPC-A-610 or
J-STD-001
certification is required Good basic computer skills (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Zoom) Experience using tools such as torque drivers, crimpers, wire cutters, and heat guns is a plus. Experience using epoxy, resin, conformal coatings is a plus.

Pay Range:
$28.00 - $33.00 hr. (However, compensation for this position will vary based on your skills, qualifications, and experience)
