Job Title:
Cable Assembler Job Description Join our team in the production of high-quality wiring harnesses adhering to IPC-620 standards. Perform board-level soldering to IPC-610 andJ-STD-001
standards and assemble electronic devices following ESD standards. Contribute to testing electronic devices in accordance with technical documentation and provide valuable feedback to engineering for improving technical documentation and design for production and repair efficiency. Draft assembly, disassembly, and test instructions while maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Responsibilities Produce wiring harnesses per current technical documentation to IPC-620 standards. Perform board-level soldering to IPC-610 andJ-STD-001
standards. Assemble electronic devices following ESD standards. Test electronic devices per current technical documentation. Provide feedback to engineering for improvement of technical documentation and overall design related to ease of production and repair. Draft assembly, disassembly, and test instructions. Keep work areas clean and orderly, notifying the appropriate parties for materials and supplies requirements. Essential Skills Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly. Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings written in English. Capable of using digital multi-meters to check for continuity, voltage, amperage, and resistance. Knowledge of IPC-620 standards (certification or training). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Familiarity with wiring and circuit board assembly. Experience in aviation and repair is a plus. IPC-620 certification is advantageous but training will suffice. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
