Assembly Technician

II & III

Level II:

Level III:

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

Available Start Times:

6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM Position Overview We are seeking experienced Assembly Technicians II and III to build, assemble, and inspect electrical wire harnesses and related assemblies. Candidates should be comfortable working from engineering drawings, schematics, travelers, and detailed work instructions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wire preparation, crimping, soldering, cable assembly, and precision measurements , with a strong understanding of workmanship standards such as

IPC/WHMA-A-620

. Aerospace or contract manufacturing experience is highly preferred. What You'll Do Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, travelers, and work instructions Verify part numbers, revisions, quantities, and traveler documentation Inspect materials and components for damage or defects Perform cable preparation, including cutting, de-jacketing, stripping, and related processes Perform hand crimping on 8-28 AWG wire using stamped and machined contacts Perform basic soldering, including wire tinning and use of leaded and lead-free solder Identify and work appropriately with leaded vs. lead-free solder Assemble boots, connectors, breakouts, and other cable components Perform potting and related assembly processes Build assemblies to specified dimensions and tolerances Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and workmanship requirements Complete and sign travelers accurately at each required process step Properly identify, label, package, and protect completed assemblies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company, safety, quality, and workmanship procedures Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking ForLevel II At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, wire harness assembly, cable assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment Experience with wire stripping, cutting, crimping, and basic soldering Ability to read basic engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions Basic knowledge of

workmanship standards Comfortable using hand tools, inspection tools, and measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes Level III 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly, wire harness assembly, cable assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment Strong experience with cable preparation, crimping, soldering, and precision assembly Ability to independently interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, travelers, and work instructions Strong knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and electrical assembly workmanship standards Experience building assemblies to tight dimensional and quality requirements Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and identify workmanship concerns Aerospace, defense, or contract manufacturing experience highly preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Core Skills Wire Harness Assembly Cable Preparation Crimping
