Manufacturing Production Positions Positions may include: Machine Operator, Mechanical Assembler, Wiring/Electrical Assembler, General Assembler, Production Technician, and related manufacturing roles. Position Summary We are seeking dependable, hands-on manufacturing team members to support the production, assembly, and testing of high-quality products. Manufacturing employees will work from drawings, work instructions, production schedules, and established quality standards to safely and efficiently build, assemble, operate, inspect, and prepare products for shipment. Successful candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, machinery, electrical components, and/or assembly equipment. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate manufacturing machinery, equipment, hand tools, and power tools as assigned. Assemble mechanical, electrical, and/or structural components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials as applicable to the position. Install, connect, route, and secure mechanical and electrical components. Perform wiring, cable assembly, crimping, soldering, labeling, and related electrical assembly tasks when required. Measure, inspect, and verify parts and completed assemblies for proper fit, function, quality, and workmanship. Use common measuring and inspection tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other production equipment. Identify defects, discrepancies, damaged components, or other quality concerns and report them appropriately. Follow standardized work instructions, production procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Properly handle materials, components, tools, and finished products. Meet established production schedules and quality expectations. Work collaboratively with other assemblers, operators, technicians, supervisors, and manufacturing personnel. Assist with troubleshooting, rework, and continuous improvement activities as needed. Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered. Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, electrical, mechanical, or production experience is preferred but may not be required for entry-level positions. Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Basic ability to read measurements and perform simple mathematical calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work safely in a production environment. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, tools, and manufacturing techniques. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to manipulate tools, components, wiring, and small parts. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, stoop, and move throughout a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move materials and components consistent with the requirements of the specific position. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to safely perform repetitive production and assembly tasks. Work Environment Work is performed in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve machinery, tools, electrical components, materials, noise, and varying temperatures. Employees are expected to follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
