Job Description
Purpose and Objectives :
Assemble Cable and Print Systems using MPD's, Procedures and Assembly Drawings. Program, Label and box Ink using MPD's.Essential Job Functions :
Perform mechanical and electrical operations using detail standards from assembly drawings, MPD's and wiring lists. Complete mechanical and electrical assembly of systems using procedures and processes to assure quality within the timeframe forecasted. Report to Production Manager any incidents preventing you from completing assignments. Perform preliminary testing using documentation standards provided. Complete all related paperwork to comply with assignment completion. Conform to all Processes and Procedures within the company. Perform all other task as required by the Production Manager within the timeframe scheduled. Document any procedures that are relevant to promoting duplication of performance standards.Technical Knowledge, Experience and Skills Requirements :
Experience in the electro-mechanical assembly trade Individual must be capable of using all small hand tools required, including soldering, to assemble and wire cables and modules. Individual must have entry level experience and knowledge of computers. Individual must be willing to take direction from superiors and work leader, and be capable of handling several tasks. Individual must be organized, self motivated and a team player. Individual must have experience in reading detailed assembly and blue print drawings and wiring list. Individual must have experience with power tools and other trade related equipment.Working Conditions :
Job requires some lifting of assemblies when building systems. The use of pallet jacks and other ergonomic tools used to transport material and modules. All assignments require paperwork to be filed correctly. All assignments require basic computer skills.Minimum Qualifications :
A minimum of 5 years experience in Electro-mechanical assembly or related work required. Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent required. Entry level computer experience is required to record daily activities.Success Factors :
Individual must be a self-motivated individual, willing to perform several assignments simultaneously within schedule standards. Individual must be organized and capable of following up on assignments with all related paperwork. Individual must be a team player and keep a positive attitude towards co-workers to promote a productive working atmosphere.Job Type:
