What You'll Do:
Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Checks, makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed. Technician capable of working from engineering drawings, electrical and electronic schematics with limited guidance to fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair equipment and test installations in support of System Integration Laboratory test facilities.What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in aircraft wiring, specifically constructing wiring harnesses from electrical schematics. 2+ years of experience in routing wiring harnesses in a large electronics rack and terminating to a rear disconnect panel. 2+ years of experience in electronic and electrical fabrication. 2+ years of experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment. 2+ years of experience working with, fabricating, and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.What Sets You Apart:
Mechanical skills are also needed for mounting items in the racks. Able to fabricate wire harnesses, test boxes, and associated laboratory test equipment. Good electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Mechanical and general fabrication skills.Additional Information:
