Electro-Mechanical Assembler Job Description This role focuses on assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing environment. You will work with electronic and mechanical assemblies, follow detailed schematics and blueprints, and use a variety of test equipment and hand tools to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems according to schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. Perform electrical and mechanical assembly using hand tools, soldering tools, and precision instruments. Test assembled units using multimeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment to verify proper operation. Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical assemblies by identifying and correcting defects or malfunctions. Interpret and follow detailed electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints to complete assemblies accurately. Use micrometers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances during assembly. Document test results, issues, and corrective actions as required by production and quality procedures. Collaborate closely with engineers to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes. Work effectively both as part of a small team and independently to meet production schedules and quality targets. Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely and correctly. Essential Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment with a background in electronics assembly. Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly, including both electrical and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and other technical drawings. Strong soldering skills and experience working with electronic components. Hands-on experience using multimeters, voltmeters, and other electrical test equipment. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for precise assembly work. Proficiency with hand tools used for electrical and mechanical assembly. Basic computer skills to support documentation and test processes. Ability to use micrometers and other precision measuring tools. Capability to test, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical assemblies. Additional Skills & Qualifications background in electrical work or electrical assembly. Comfort working closely with engineers and technical staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
