Engineering Technician
Job Description
Electrical Assembly Technician responsible for fabricating, assembling, wiring, installing, and documenting electrical control components and custom interface systems. Job Requirements Soldering experience. Experience reading and working from electrical schematics used for industrial control systems or equivalent systems. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to work on ladders. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Experience with electrical fabrication, assembly, installation, and removal activities. Preferred Skills Experience wiring custom control interface boxes. Experience with cable assembly, routing, layout, and termination. Experience terminating wiring in terminal blocks and electrical connectors. Experience with instrumentation interfaces and readout systems. Experience creating or maintaining technical documentation. Job Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, install, and remove electrical parts and sub-assemblies. Wire custom control interface boxes based on schematics, drawings, and documented instructions. Assemble, route, and terminate electrical cables. Terminate wiring in terminal blocks, connectors, and related electrical components. Support instrumentation interface and readout activities. Perform soldering and electrical assembly work. Use hand and power tools to complete electrical installation and assembly tasks. Complete required written documentation related to electrical assembly and installation work.
Pay:
