Assemble and install electrical and pneumatic components on machinery and equipment. Wire machine components to electrical harnesses and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Route, terminate, label, and secure wires, cables, and pneumatic lines according to specifications. Install and connect electrical connectors, terminals, and wiring components. Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical assembly equipment safely and effectively. Inspect completed assemblies for proper installation, wiring, fit, function, and workmanship. Troubleshoot basic electrical wiring and assembly issues and make necessary corrections. Take clear, organized notes during training and use them as a reference for future assemblies. Apply training and demonstrate increasing independence with assembly tasks. Ask questions and seek clarification when assembly instructions or requirements are unclear. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow OSHA requirements, company safety policies, and established assembly procedures. Communicate effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other team members to resolve assembly issues.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of relevant electrical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Technical high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience with electrical wiring, connectors, terminals, and cable routing. Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with pneumatic components and systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to learn new assembly processes and work independently with minimal supervision. #
