Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler Job Description The Mechanical Assembler plays a key role in assembling mechanical and electrical components to produce high-quality products in a small shop setting. This position requires careful adherence to technical instructions and engineering blueprints, consistent application of company procedures, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all assemblies meet quality and production standards. Responsibilities Follow detailed technical instructions and interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms to perform accurate mechanical and electrical assembly work. Collect and organize all required materials, components, and equipment before beginning each assembly process. Evaluate and discern the quality of parts and materials used in production, ensuring only suitable components are used. Adhere to all company procedures, directives, and safety guidelines throughout the assembly process. Inspect and check finished output to confirm that products meet the highest quality standards and specifications. Keep accurate records of production quantities and time spent on tasks to support tracking and reporting. Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts promptly to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to production. Maintain, clean, and properly store tools and equipment used to create products, including hand tools and power tools. Keep a clean, organized, and well-maintained workspace to support efficiency and safety. Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and operational needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
