Responsibilities Assemble electrical control panels according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to accurately wire components, ensuring proper electrical connections and circuit integrity. Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques to install components such as PCB (Printed Circuit Boards), electro-mechanical parts, and wiring harnesses. Troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing tools to diagnose and resolve wiring or component faults. Conduct thorough testing of assembled panels to verify functionality, safety compliance, and adherence to blueprint specifications before final inspection. Collaborate with mechanical assembly teams during the integration process and assist in machining or fabrication tasks as needed. Requirements Proven experience in electrical panel building or electronics assembly within a manufacturing environment. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, soldering techniques, surface mount technology (SMT), and wiring methods. Knowledge of PCB design principles, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electro-mechanical components. Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly and electrical wiring best practices. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters effectively. Experience following blueprint specifications precisely while maintaining quality standards in assembly processes.
