Job Summary We are seeking a Controller Assembly Technician to perform light mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial robot controllers. This position works within the assembly department and is responsible for assembling, wiring, installing components, and preparing controller units according to established work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. Responsibilities Assemble industrial robot controllers using established work instructions and procedures. Install mechanical and electrical components inside controller cabinets. Perform basic electrical wiring and connect cables, wires, and components. Route, organize, and secure wiring neatly within controller assemblies. Install hardware, brackets, panels, and other mechanical components. Use common hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks. Read and follow drawings, diagrams, schematics, and written assembly instructions. Inspect completed assemblies to verify components and wiring are installed correctly. Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect components. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety, quality, and assembly procedures. Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications Previous experience in assembly, electrical assembly, wiring, or manufacturing preferred. Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Ability to read and follow drawings, diagrams, and written work instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality. Ability to perform repetitive assembly work safely and accurately. Good troubleshooting and problem-identification skills. Experience with electrical panels, control cabinets, robotics, industrial automation, or similar equipment is a plus. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 - 55.0 per week
