Job Description
Position Summary Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels. Perform production functions safely within regulated environment. Primary Duties Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely. Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature. Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines. Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians. Ability to conduct advanced test procedures. Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education, Training and Experience High School Diploma, GED or equivalent 3+ years of related experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Consistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotes. Detail orientation to complete tasks without errors and produce high-quality work. Organizing work and resources efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Troubleshooting issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Ability to cooperate with others at all levels including leadership. Effective verbal communication skills. Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
