Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to support the build and testing of complex electronic systems in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role will focus on prototype development and low-to-mid volume production and requires strong electro-mechanical assembly experience and precision soldering skills. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical or electronics assembly within manufacturing or R D environments
  •  Hands-on experience building cable harnesses and wiring assemblies (cutting, stripping, crimping, heat shrinking, etc.)
  •  Strong soldering skills, including experience with small surface-mount components (0402 or similar)
  •  Ability to perform precision rework on very small components (0201)
  •  Ability to read and follow electrical schematics and assembly instructions
  •  Experience using standard test equipment for troubleshooting and validation IPC certifications (J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and/or
IPC/WHMA-A-620
)
  •  Experience working with fine-pitch or high-density electronic assemblies
  •  Familiarity with ESD protocols and handling requirements
  •  Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated industries
