Job Description
Talascend is currently seeking an Electromechanical Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Aurora, Ohio . Overview This role involves supporting product development and manufacturing by performing diverse assembly tasks, including soldering electronic components on circuit boards, mechanical assembly, and basic testing. The position offers hands-on experience in innovative technology within the healthcare industry and provides opportunities for growth and development. Responsibilities Read and follow work procedures and schematics or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Maintain accurate records of the work performed and other required documentation. Perform manufacturing and assembly operations on one or two production lines following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets. Maintain daily production output. Participate in quality control inspections as needed. Work in the Decon area, unpacking, disinfecting, and dispositioning returned products. Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned and participate in quality and lean activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams. Comply with environmental health and safety policies and quality procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or local equivalent Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-minded work habits Ability to communicate using English (or local language) Preferred Qualifications 6 months of manufacturing experience Thru hole and surface mount soldering experience Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Word and Excel We thank all applicants for their interest.
