Job Description

Electronic Assembler/Tech Aide We are currently seeking candidates with electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly experience for an Electronic Assembler/Tech Aide position at a contract electronics manufacturer in Aurora, OH. In this position you will be assembling components of high-quality IT solutions through electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and soldering.
Shift :
8:00am - 5:00pm,
Monday-Friday Pay :
Starts at $20.00/hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Electronic and mechanical assembly of high quality devices, such as Single User KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) switches and Environmental Monitoring products Follow work process instructions and specifications, both written and verbal Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standards and class (IPC) Perform verification tests in accordance with assembly instructions Control inventory by following proper purchasing and reorder procedures Ability to perform electronic assembly with hand/electric tools on a regular basis Participate in continuous improvement and maintain a productive working relationship Perform other duties as assigned including moving of material as needed Candidate may also be required to test finished assemblies as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Assembly experience with a focus on small parts/electronics preferred Experience testing finished assemblies preferred Surface mount soldering, through-hole soldering and rework is a plus Ability to work in a changing fast paced environment Demonstrate dependability, flexibility and the ability to work under minimal supervision Quality minded approach to work
