Position Summary:
The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and producing high-quality transformers used in critical electrical systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality. Assemblers contribute directly to product reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, and specifications.
- Set up and organize the work area with appropriate tools, materials, and components.
- Identify and gather required mechanical and electrical components.
- Assemble core materials with correct alignment and arrangement.
- Attach lead wires and connect electrical components using approved wiring or soldering techniques.
- Assemble enclosures or casings to protect internal components.
- Seal enclosures using Sonic Welding equipment or other approved methods.
- Perform functional tests to ensure units meet specifications.
- Inspect assembled units for defects and perform quality checks.
- Apply labels and identification markings per specifications.
- Communicate issues or process challenges with team leaders or supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Vocational training or experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with wiring and soldering is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to adapt to changing production needs or product designs.

Day Shift:
7am to 3:30pm M-F $16.00 per hour Swing Shift 4pm to 12:30am M-F $17.50 per hour
