  • $23 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description Our client company was Founded in 1979 and designs and manufactures a wide range of analog electronic products primarily for the laser and electro-optics industries.
These products serve applications in military, medical, scientific, and industrial markets. They have over 65 full-time employees that are involved in design, development, and manufacturing. Products they manufacture include capacitor charging power supplies, simmer supplies, Pockels cell drivers, CW arc lamp drivers, pulsed flashlamp drivers, and mid to high power laser diode drivers. These products are available in a variety of packages, from OEM modules to stand-alone, turn-key systems. Many of these products are certified to the European Medical Standard
EN60601-1
as well as
UL2601-1.
They also offer a complete line of sensors and amplifiers, including hybrid laser rangefinder receivers, linear and logarithmic amplifiers, pulse stretchers, fiber optic links and photodetector-amplifier modules. Their military products include Laser Rangefinder Receivers, Linear Array Detection Systems, 3D Laser Radar Sensing Electronics, Custom Range Counters, Quadrant Laser Spot Trackers, Capacitor Charging Power Supplies, Pockels Cell Drivers, Laser Diode Drivers and custom assemblies. Many of these products are qualified to meet shock, vibration, temperature and radiation-hardened requirements of MIL-STD-810 and are manufactured to the
ANSI J-STD-001
Class 3 workmanship standard. The company takes pride that it is certified to

2015 and is committed to product excellence. The company has an immediate need for Electronic Product Assemblers at their Seminole County plant. I. Summary of the main function/purpose of the position: Performs repetitive bench and/or assembly operations to produce electronic assemblies and subassemblies. II.
Principal duties/responsibilities:
  • Completes assemblies or subassemblies per documentation provided by the engineering department.
  • Solders PCB assemblies using thru hole or SMT (Surface Mount Technology) soldering.
  • Works to approved documentation such as assembly prints, (SOP) Standards Operation Procedures and (WI) Work Instructions.
  • Electrical wiring involves cutting, stripping, soldering, or crimping of wires.
  • Attempts to complete work within budgeted assembly time which may consist of PCB's, subassemblies, metal chassis, and hardware.
  • Documents time spent on individual jobs on route sheets and timecards.
  • Provides feedback to Production Supervisor regarding problems and issues involved in assigned assembly products or documentation.

Class 3 soldering, 2.) Build engineering prototype units, 3.) Do system level assembly from schematic drawings.
  • Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Has internal contact with drafting, engineering, stockroom, and quality control personnel for information and status review on individual production projects. IV. Education and/or equivalence in experience requirements: To perform the functions of this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform assigned duties satisfactorily. Class 3 or better. Knowledge of assembly prints, electronic symbols and parts lists is necessary. Production Team Members work a 9/80 work schedule. Their hours are 7:00 am
  • 4:30 pm every Monday
  • Thursday, 7:00 am
  • 3:30 pm the first Friday of the pay period and will have the following Friday off.
